MAMARONECK, N.Y. (AP) — The 150-foot hull of an unfinished sailing yacht dubbed the "Ghost Ship" has been retrieved after strong winds caused it to drift from the suburban New York harbor where it was anchored.

Village of Mamaroneck Manager Rich Slingerland tells The Journal News of Westchester (http://lohud.us/2d5nVvF ) that the aluminum boat skeleton broke loose from its mooring in the local harbor last Thursday and grounded on a nearby shoreline.

Slingerland says Derecktor Shipyards, which owns the boat, brought the vessel back to its docks.

The multi-million-dollar sailboat once belonged to former Tyco CEO Dennis Kozlowski, who was convicted of stealing hundreds of millions from Tyco in 2005. He was paroled in 2013 and lives in New York City.

The boat has been up for sale for $1 million for nearly a decade.
