The 2014 NFL preseason will officially begin with the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills meeting in the annual Hall of Fame Game on August 3, in Canton, Ohio.

Fitting because Michael Strahan - who spent all off of his 15 seasons with Big Blue - and Andre Reed - a Buffalo staple at WR - headline this year's class.

Strahan still holds the league's single season sack mark (22.5) and ranks fifth on the career list (141.5).

Reed holds the Bills' franchise records for career receptions (941) and touchdowns (86), while ranking in the top 15 in league history in catches, receiving yards and receiving TD's.

This will be the fifth HOF game appearance for the Giants who met the Arizona Cardinals in the inaugural event in 1962, according to Giants.com. They last played in Canton in 2002. The Bills played there back in 2009, what was their third appearance.

Also being inducted this year are: Derrick Brooks, Ray Guy, Claude Humphrey, Walter Jones and Aeneas Williams.

The last regular season meeting of the Giants and Bills (photo above) came in Week 6 of the 2011 season: NYG 27, BUF 24.
