A veteran offensive lineman currently on the New York Giants roster has been charged in connection with a domestic incident that reportedly happened this summer.

Michael Bowie, 25, has been in camp with the G-Men this preseason after having previously played a total of three NFL seasons with the Seahawks and Browns.

The Giants announced he would not be traveling with the team for Monday's exhibition in Cleveland after learning he was being charged with domestic battery and damaging property during an altercation with his girlfriend in Oklahoma.

The NY Post reports the allegation is that Bowie grabbed the woman by the neck and threw here, then broke two televisions and punched a hole in a wall.
