Over 500 women gathered at Harts Hill Inn today for the American Heart Association's 12th annual "Go Red For Women" Luncheon.

Luncheon Chairperson Denise Flihan says the event is the culmination of a year's worth of educating women about their risk factors for heart disease.

Women attending today's luncheon were able to get health screenings, see cooking demonstrations and learn lifesaving information.

Heart disease is the number one killer of women age 20 and over, killing about one woman every minute.
