Goalie Bachman Called Up to Vancouver; Archibald Back with Comets

Darren Archibald is returning to the Utica Comets after a brief call-up this week with the NHL's Canucks.

Archibald played in just one game, scoring Vancouver's lone goal in Friday's 4-1 loss to Arizona. Meanwhile, the team officials also announced this weekend that goalie Richard Bachman has been recalled by the Canucks.

In five games this season with the Comets, Bachman is 1-4 with a .423 goals-against-average.

The Utica Comets posted a 4-6-0-0 record in October, going just 1-5 at home. The Comets will face the Laval Rocket in their next three contests, two on the road this coming Friday and Saturday. Utica will then host Laval on Wednesday, November 7.
