Google Releases Interactive Hurricane Sandy App

Mountain View, CA (WIBX) - A similar application was launched during Hurricane Irene and now Google has released an app to track the progress of Hurricane Sandy.

It is being updated not only to show the path of the hurricane but includes forecasts and links to shelters from the American Red Cross.  There are also links to real-time updates from the National Hurricane Center.
