GoPro Files Registration Documents with the SEC in Preparation for IPO

The maker of a popular action camera is attempting to raise about a million dollars by going public.

GoPro had announced its intention to eventually file for an IPO in February, but waited until yesterday to release registration documents that the company filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company, which was previously known as Woodman Labs after founders Nicholas and Jill Woodman, will be offered under the NASDAQ symbol "GPRO."
