Utica's newest walk-in health clinic will hold its grand opening next Tuesday.

Mayor Robert Palmieri says Primary Urgent Care, located at 1908 Genesee Street, is the area's only independently owned urgent care clinic.

Palmieri said, “It is great to see new investment and development in our community, especially when that investment will enhance the health and overall quality of life for our residents.  I thank Primary Urgent Care for their partnership and dedication to the City of Utica.”

The clinic will treat non-life threatening injuries and illnesses.

Primary Urgent Care is staffed by a full medical team, is open seven days a week and requires no appointment.

They'll be open Monday through Friday from 8am to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm.
