Griffo And Brindisi Take The Oath Of Office At Local School

A pair of state lawmakers were sworn in today at a local middle school.

Senator Joseph Griffo and Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi were administered the oath of office by Oneida County Family Court Judge Randal Caldwell at the Parkway Middle  School.in Whitesboro.

Following the ceremony, Griffo and Brindisi answered questions from students and talked about how the political process works.

The students asked the lawmakers about their roles in govermennt, how laws are made and what they enjoyed the most and least about their jobs.

The two legislators were sworn-in in similar ceremonies at schools in Utica and Rome last year.
