Griffo Named To Top Tier Leadership Post In The Senate

Senator Joseph Griffo has been named to a top-tier leadership post in the State Senate.

Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan has appointed Griffo Assistant Senate Majority Whip.

Flanagan said: “Senator Griffo is a valuable, well-respected and hard-working member of the Senate Republican Majority, and a trusted voice for the Mohawk Valley and Upstate New York.

The position will enable Griffo to play an important and influential role in monitoring the progress of legislation and helping secure votes in support of proposed legislation.

Griffo also serves as chairman of the Senate Energy and Telecommunications Committee and sits on eight other committees, including Finance.
