Griffo To Attend Trump Inauguration In DC

State Senator Joseph Griffo will be attending the Inauguration of Donald Trump in Washington D.C. on Friday.

He says the inauguration of any president is always a special occasion to demonstrate the peaceful transfer of power in our democracy, and he's honored to have been invited to participate in such an historic event

Griffo will be joining a delegation from New York State.

Griffo says it's an exciting and significant opportunity, especially since we have not had a president from New York since Franklin D. Roosevelt.  "No matter who our president is, this is a moment for all of us to witness a ceremony every four years that symbolizes the enduring stability and strength of our great nation", said Griffo.
