Duke Snider, elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980 following an 18 year major league career, passed away on Sunday morning in California, he was 84.  Born September 19, 1926 in Los Angeles, Snider make his debut for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947.    To find out more about the life and career of Duke Snider, visit the Baseball Hall of Fames website.
