VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — Police in Vancouver, Washington, say two 7-year-old girls and a 20-year-old woman were seriously hurt Friday night when they were hit by a car while trick-or-treating.

The Columbian reports that police say a Ford Mustang jumped a curb and hit the trio on a sidewalk at about 8:20 p.m. They reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries.

A 33-year-old woman who was with them was less seriously hurt.

A 47-year-old man driving the car, who remained at the scene, also suffered less serious injuries.
