Hanna Holding Satellite Office Hours For Constituents

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Congressman Richard Hanna, (R-NY-24th)  is holding several public meetings in four different communities in his district. Hanna, who is still recovering after heart surgery last week, says his staff will be at hand to meet with constituents. Communications Director, Renee Gamela said Hanna wants to ensure his constituents still have access to him. "They may need help with Social Security or Medicaid or Medicare, the issues really run the gamut and he wants to be available and accessible for anyone who may need assistance," Gamela said.

When asked about security concerns in light of the Arizona shooting tragedy, Gamela says the issue is taken seriously and precautions are in place to ensure a safe exchange with constituents. She said, "The security at any of the City Halls, or Municipal Halls, or County Office Building locations where staff member will be present for satellite office hours will apply." She says the focus is to be accessible to constituents, ensuring they get the help they need when dealing with the federal government.
