Congressman Richard Hanna has sent a letter to the candidates vying to succeed him about his commitment to ensuring a smooth transition after Election Day.

Hanna told the three candidates that he looks forward to working with the Representative-elect to shift outstanding casework and other information to the new office holder.

“I am committed to a smooth transition and look forward to working with the Representative-elect to make the process as seamless as possible,” Hanna said. “The residents of the 22nd Congressional District deserve no less. Constituent services has been one of the most personally satisfying parts of my time in office and I am dedicated to ensuring it remains a top priority through the end of my service.”

Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney, Broome County Legislator Kim Myers and businessman Martin Babinec are running for Hanna's seat.
