Hanna Pushes Bills To Protect Upstate New York Sportsmen
Congressman Richard Hanna is outlining several federal initiatives that will assist sportsmen who live in upstate New York.
Hanna was at Herb Philipson's in Herkimer today, where he discussed legislation to increase access to recreational fishing and hunting on federally owned land.
He's also supporting a bill prohibiting the EPA from using its funds to regulate the lead content in ammunition or fishing tackle. And Hanna is also the co-sponsor of a bill that would prevent the federal government from banning certain ammunition which is widely used by sport shooters and hunters.
Hanna also talked about his commitment to see Remington Arms thrive in Herkimer County.
