Hanna To Meet With DFAS, Rome Lab Employees

Rome, NY (WIBX) - Congressman Richard Hanna will participate in a forum tonight with employees from the Rome Defense Finance Accounting Service office and the Rome Research Lab concerning possible defense-related cuts in the future.The meeting will take place at 6:30 at the Griffiss Institute.

It's been speculated that a Federal Base Realignment and Closure Commission process could take place in 2015.

Hanna says it's important to highlight the importance and efficiency of DFAS and its military support entities in Rome.

Senator Joe Griffo and Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi will also take part in tonight's forum.
