Rome, NY (WIBX) - Congressman Richard Hanna will visit Strough Middle School tomorrow morning, urging kids to say "no" to underage drinking.

He will be joined by Superindentent Jeff Simons, Principal Tracy O'Rourke and Shannon Adams of The Century Council as part of the school's "Ask, Listen, Learn" program, starting at 9 a.m.

"Ask, Listen, Learn" teaches both parents and their kids about the dangers of underage drinking, while showing them the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Several athletes, including Apolo Anton Ohno, Rebecca Soni and Bryan Clay are part of the national campaign.

According to the 2010 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, nearly 16 percent of kids ages 12 to 14 say they had consumed alcohol in the past month.
