Washington, D.C. (WIBX) -  Congressman Richard Hanna paid a visit to Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Tuesday.

“It is a privilege and honor to visit with those who serve our nation,” Hanna said. “It’s important to show our men and women that we appreciate them, we thank them for their service and we stand beside them through their physical therapy and rehabilitation.”

Hanna had a chance to speak with wounded vets and their families.

“Our military personnel being treated at Walter Reed have made sacrifices that truly can never be repaid,” Hanna said. “What we can do, is continue to provide them with the best medical care in world, and I witnessed that today.”
