Hart Street Deaths Ruled Murder-Sucide

Utica Police say preliminary autopsy results from the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office show the deaths of a man and woman found inside a home on Hart Street were a murder-suicide.

Police say 22-year old Zachary Roger's death has been ruled a suicide and the death of 26-year old Stephanie Excell has been ruled a homicide

Both sustained a single gunshot wound to the head.

Police say the report is preliminary and the full report may take a few weeks.
