Have You Seen Martha Chourb?

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help locating a 15-year old Town of Sangerfield runaway.

UPDATE: 03/24/2014 8:00am The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says that the name of the young woman who was missing was misspelled on a previous press release.  Her name is Martha Chourb, not Thourb.

Chourb was last seen on Newberry Road in Sangerfield.  On previous occasions she has run to the towns of Utica and Buffalo.  This time, deputies say, she had indicated that she had planned to leave the state.

Chourb is also believed to have shorter hair than she has in the photo which accompanies this story

Police say any calls regarding her whereabouts will be kept confidential.  Anyone with information can contact them at: (315) 736.0141.

Martha Chourb was last seen at home on Wednesday at approximately 3:30 p.m.

She is 5 feet tall, weighs about 100 pounds and normally wears glasses.

Police believe she may be in the Utica area.

Anyone with information on Thourb's whereabouts is asked to contact the Oneida County Sheriff's office.
