Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - If your children are becoming bored at home, Herkimer County Community College would like to help.

The college is hosting two workshops for children from July 16th to the 19th on its campus, "Robotics Mini Camp" and "Printmaking for Kids."

Kids taking part in the four-day robotics camp will learn to use science and math concepts while programming their Lego NXT bots. Later, they will take part in the State Fair 4-H challenge. The class is open to all children ages 8-18 and will meet from 8 a.m. until noon.

The printmaking class teaches various printing techniques including stamping and silk screening. Children will also learn about various artists and cultural influences. Classes will meet from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and is open to all kids ages 6-12.

Both classes cost $85 to attend. Pre-registration is required by July 9th.
