After making a late run in the Paralympic Games, the US wheelchair curling team suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Great Britain in their final match of round robin action.

Needing a win to force a possibly tie-breaking scenario, the US (4-5) built a 6-2 lead before the Brits put a 5-spot on the board. The US forced an extra end but fell 8-7.

With help from other countires, the Americans still could have been in a tie-breaking game on Friday, but it was not to be.
