Herkimer Co. Offers Gun Safety Course

Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - The Herkimer County Sheriff's Office is offering a three hour gun safety course at their office on Main Street.

According to the group, this class fulfills the safety course requirement for applicants of a pistol permit within the county.

Those wishing to attend the gun safety course on December 17 are encouraged to act quickly, due to a limited class size of 25 people.

Registration for the class is $10 per person, and begins at 9 a.m. For more information, call the Herkimer County Pistol Permit Clerk at (315) 867-1265.
