Herkimer County Man Found Guilty On Child Pornography Charges
A Herkimer County man has been found guilty of receiving and possessing child pornography following a four-day trial in Binghamton.
The U.S Attorney's Office says Daniel Passero, Jr of Gloversville downloaded hundreds of sexually explicit images of children and saved them to a memory card that was later found in a smartphone recovered at his home.
Passero was on parole for a prior sex offense against a child at the time.
Passero faces 15 to 60 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 when he's sentenced.
