Herkimer County Teen Facing Sexual Abuse Charges

The New York State Police have arrested a 17-year-old for alleged sexual abuse.

According to a release Aaron Mitchell of Starkville, NY has been charged with Sex Abuse in the first degree, which is a class 'D' felony.

Mitchell is accused of having sexual contact with a child under the age of 11. He was arraigned and released to appear at a later date in the Town of Stark Court.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Herkimer County Child Advocacy Center.
