Herkimer County’s FAVOR Program to Help Military Vets

Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - Herkimer County businesses are helping Military veterans by offering them a discount on products they buy.  According to Herkimer County Clerk Sylvia Rowan, the FAVOR program is set to officially begin Tuesday, with veterans using a special I-D card to access the savings.

About 90 Herkimer County  businesses are participating in the program. Information for veterans who wish to receive a card or businesses who want to participate may call (315) 867-1129.
