Herkimer Health Dept. Holding Rabies Clinic This Week

Herkimer County, NY (WIBX) - Pet owners have another opportunity to get their animals vaccinated. The Herkimer County Public Health Department is holding a rabies clinic this week at the East Herkimer Fire House located at 193 Main Road in East Herkimer.

Officials recommend that all cats, dogs and ferrets, 3-months or older, get vaccinated. Even if they're indoor pets. Also, animals must be properly secured for the service. A $5.00 donation per pet is suggested.
