Herkimer Man Busted On DWI Charges Following Utica Traffic Stop

A traffic stop by Utica Police quickly turned into a DWI arrest for one Herkimer man.

Yesterday, officers stopped a vehicle driven by Daniel Balevre, 39, at the corner of Sunset Avenue and Spring Street for an inadequate muffler.

Balevre was later arrested and charged with two counts of DWI, along with several other vehicle and traffic infractions.
