Herkimer Man Charged In Burglary

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A three-week investigation has led to the arrest of a Herkimer man on burglary and grand larceny charges.

New Hartford Police say 26-year old Tyler Hand entered a home on Tibbits Road in New Hartford and took over $30,000 worth of jewelry.

Police say further charges against Hand and another party are expected.

They say the pair may have been involved in several residential burglaries in and around Herkimer.
