Herkimer Woman Arrested For Endangering The Welfare Of A Child

A Herkimer woman has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

State Police say 35-year old Jaclyn Elthorp is also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Police say the arrest was the result of an investigation into a call made to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline in April.

Elthorp was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to return to the Town of Herkimer Court on June 14th.
