Herkimer Woman Arrested For Threatening Police

A Herkimer woman was arrested yesterday for threatening to kill officers with a knife.

According to Herkimer police, officers were called to the scene where Crystal Vaccarelli, 25, was reportedly "out of control" on a public sidewalk waving a butcher knife.

Police say the woman threatened the officers and refused to drop the knife.

Vaccarelli was arrested and charged with menacing a police officer and criminal possession of a weapon and sent to the Herkimer Correctional facility on $2,000 bail.
