Herkimer Woman Facing Assault Charges

A Herkimer woman is facing charges stemming from an incident that happened in July in the Village of Ilion.

41-year old Bobbie Jo Stanley is accused of hitting a child in the face with her hand.

Ilion Police have charged Stanley with assault, endangering the welfare of a child and giving a false written statement.

She was to the Herkimer County on $500 bail.
