Hermin Garic To Compete In Miami Marathon
A local wheelchair racer is heading south this weekend to take part in the Miami Marathon on Sunday.
23-year old Hermin Garic of Utica is a member of the Sitrin STARS Adaptive Sports Program.
This will be Garic's second 26.2 mile race, following his completion of the New York City Marathon in November.
He's been road racing since he was 14 and has placed second in the Boilermaker Wheelchair Division the past two years.
