The use of heroin and opiates poses a growing problem not only for law enforcement agencies, but for families struggling to deal with those who are addicted.

To meet the needs of the community in dealing with the challenge, a heroin and opiate family support group will start meeting in Utica beginning next Thursday, January 8, 2015.

The group will meet Thursdays from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in Suite 401 on the fourth floor of the Center for Family Life and Recovery, located at 502 Court Street in Utica, New York.

For more information please contact Nicole Soriano, Clinical Director of Milestones, via e-mail at: nsiriano@cnyservices.org.

The program is being run in conjunction with the Oneida County Heroin / Opiate Task Force.
