Hildebrand Replaces Beard as Chief of Staff for Rep. David Price

U.S. Representative David E. Price officially has a new Chief of Staff.

Asher Hildebrand is replacing Jean-Louise Beard, who retired in June of this year.  Beard has worked as Price's Chief of Staff since 2001.

Price made the announcement yesterday, after indicating his intention to have Hildebrand succeed Beard more than a year ago.  Hildebrand has worked with Price as a staff member since 1988.  Hildebrand has been Price's Legislative Director and Deputy Chief of Staff since 2009.

In a written release issued last year, naming Hildebrand as Beard's successor, Rep. Price said, "Asher comes to this position with...extensive knowledge of the federal policies and programs upon which our communities rely.  I am confident my constituents will continue to be well served by my dedicated district staff under his leadership."
