A show about a math wiz originally from central New York debuts Saturday night on The History Channel.

Born in Herkimer, NY, Scott Flansburg - dubbed The Human Calculator - is world renowned for ability to compute numbers in his head. In fact, the graduate of West Canada Valley High School holds a Guinness World Record for his quick number crunching ability, which he can do faster than you can enter the numbers on a calculator.

Two, one-hour episodes of the show, The Human Calculator, will air Saturday night (1/9) beginning at 9 p.m. The final two episodes of the four-part mini-series will air next weekend, he tells WIBX.

'We'll see how it goes from there,' Flansburg said while appearing on WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning. The first episode includes tips on how to beat Las Vegas, and win the lottery, he says.
