Hit And Run Suspect Sought By UPD

Utica, NY (WIBX) – Utica Police officials investigating a recent hit and run accident are asking for the public’s help. Officials say at around 1:30 on the afternoon of February 7, 2011, a blue SUV traveling North on Genesee Street crashed into the driver’s side door of a parked car. The incident occurred in front of 339 Genesee Street. Police say the blue vehicle whose make and model is not known, should have damage on the lower portion of the front right bumper or front right quarter panel. Anyone with information is asked to call Utica Police at (315) 223-3500
