Holland Patent Man Charged for Stabbing Another in the Neck

A Holland Patent man is facing Assault charges following a motor vehicle accident in the City of Utica.

According to the UPD officers arrived on the scene of a possible accident on Broad Street on Friday after reports of a fight between drivers. Upon arrival police learned from witnesses that both parties involved had left the scene.

While speaking with witnesses dispatch directed police to a business on Broad street where one of the men called for help after being stabbed in the neck. He was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries.and is currently in stable condition.

Following an investigation it was determined that 39-year-old Shaun Mullins allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with the victim and after being interviewed by police was charged with Felony 1st degree Assault and Felony Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
