A month-long investigation into a burglary at a home on McKern Road in the Town of Floyd has led to the arrest of a Holland Patent man.

State Police say 21-year old Thomas Washburn, Junior allegedly broke into the home and stole numerous tools, electronics and jewelry.

Troopers say during the investigation, it was also found that Washburn was pawning boxes of band name flea and tick medication at area pawn shops.

They say Washburn had been shoplifting the medications from Pet Supplies Plus, Petsmart and Wal Mart in New Hartford.

He's facing charges including burglary, grand larceny and criminal possessin of stolen property.
