Holland Patent Student Dies After Tuesday’s Crash On Route 365

The teen involved in an accident on Route 365 in Floyd has died.

Anusha Yagey, 16, was listed in critical condition yesterday morning at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, but later died from his injuries.

Holland Patent Superintendent, Kathleen Davis, says the school is allowing students time to mourn.

"We have counselors all over the district," Davis said. "We also have counselors from other districts as well as Oneida County BOCES Safety Office and Oneida County. I just think at this point that we all need to pray for the family and support them. I encourage everyone in the community to help us support the Yagey family through this time."

Anusha Yagey attended Holland Patent High School with his 17 year-old brother, Joseph.
