Trenton, NY (WIBX) – The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office says a homemade bomb was turned in to their Barneveld Office.

They say it appears someone left a 2-liter soda bottle filled with live ammunition on the trail.

The device had been lit and some of the ammo had exploded.

The Sheriff’s Office is advising anyone who finds a suspicious device not to touch it and to notify police.
