Police say someone may have inadvertently captured video of a strong-armed robbery by a group of women in Utica.

At approximately 10:15 on October 17, 2014 a group of four black female teenagers followed a woman as she was walking home from work near Johnson Park.

At the intersection of Johnson Park and Square Street one of the females allegedly punched the 46-year old woman twice on the side of her head and another stole the woman's cellular phone.

The suspects ran, heading southbound on West Street and then eastbound on Arthur Street.

Police say the description of the suspects is "very limited."

Anyone with information that may be helpful is asked to call Utica Police at: (315) 223.3510.  They are asking residents in the area who may have home surveillance cameras to share any footage captured with police.
