Hop Harvest Scheduled for Sunday

Bridgewater, NY (WIBX) - The F.X. Matt Brewing Company in conjunction with Wrobel Farms will be hosting a hop harvest to brew locally sourced Saranac Wet Hop IPA Sunday from 1 to 6 pm. Wrobel Farms is located at 927 State Route 8, Bridgewater, NY

Around 200 friends of Saranac will be volunteering to help pick hops for a special locally hopped beer to be made by the Brewery. The beer, Saranac Wet Hop IPA, will be brewed the following week with these locally grown New York hops. Hops have been growing at this farm since the early 1800's.

After picking the hops, refreshments will be provided including a cookout and Saranac Beer.
