Household Hazardous Waste Facility To Close For The Season

The Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority's Household Hazardous Waste Facility will close for the season next Friday, September 30th.

The facility, located on Leland Avenue, will be open for residents of Oneida and Herkimer Counties Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:00 and Saturday from 7:00 to 2:00 through the end of the month.

You can drop off hazardous waste including paint, pesticides and oven cleaners.

Certain businesses may also qualify to use the facility.  For more information, call the OHSWA at 733-1225.
