Albany, NY (WIBX) - Hydrofracking has been deemed safe by New York health officials.

According to documents obtained by the "New York Times," the controversial drilling method could be conducted safely in the state.

Governor Andrew Cuomo is weighing his options about the process and has delayed a decision because of opposition from some Democrats.

But the information published by the newspaper was prepared early last year and a Department of Environmental Conservation Department official claims it is out of date and will be revised.
