Ian Gulbin Pleads Guilty In Beating Death Of Child

Ian Gulbin appeared in Oneida County court today where he pleaded guilty in the November beating death of a 1 year old child in Bridgewater.

Gulbin entered a guilty plea for the second-degree murder of his then girlfriend's son Brayden.

The 31 year old Gulbin told the court he 'just snapped' after the baby would not stop crying.

Gulbin's trial was scheduled to begin next week before the guilty plea was entered.

Assistant Oneida County District Attorney Dawn Lupi says she was surprised by the plea.

He now faces 22 years to life in prison.
