The City of Binghamton is threatening to lock down an events venue on the West Side where a Binghamton University student was critically injured and robbed on November 15th.

The Mayor’s office says a lockdown warning is to be sent to the Ice House on Charlotte Street, which is frequently rented for parties by student groups, including fraternities.

Meanwhile, the reward for information about the attacker on the 20 year old student has grown.  An anonymous donor has added another $1,000 to the $1,000 offered by the victim’s family and $1,000 from Binghamton Police.

The student’s name has not been released and police say, at last report, he was still in critical condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call Binghamton Police Detectives at (607) 772-7080.
