An investigation by the Oneida County District Attorney's Office has led to the arrest of a man who was hired to do contracting work that was allegedly never done..

35-year old Christopher Gordon is facing charges of grand larceny, criminal possession of a forged instrument and criminal impersonation.

The DA's Office says Gordon allegedly provided fraudulent documents to victims which were either forged or obtained from a local contracting company.

They say the victims also paid for material that was never delivered by Gordon.

Investigators seized computers and documents which may be related to the case from a vessel at the Ilion Marina.
