Ilion Man Charged With Rape

Ilion, NY (WIBX) - An Ilion man is under arrest for allegedly having sexual intercourse with an underage girl in Utica.

State Police in Marcy arrested Thurman Dixon, 32, of West River Street, after an investigation concluded his alleged involvement with a female under the age of 13 this past February.

Police charged Dixon with First Degree Rape, a felony.

Dixon was arraigned today in Utica City Court, with bail set at 30-thousand dollars. He was later remanded to the Oneida County Jail.
